Harmony Baptist Church believes strongly in the importance of reaching the community with the truth of God’s Word, as this was a fundamental command given by Christ to His Church.  

      We live in a society where corporate and political establishments saturate the community with advertisements, high pressure sales tactics, and annoying cold calls in an attempt to promote a product or agenda.  This has produced an environment where people are justifiably skeptical and uneasy with any attempts to make direct contact with them. This reality has presented a greater challenge than ever before in reaching those around us with the truth of the gospel, which is our sole desire as a church of Christ.

     In recognition of this reality, Harmony Baptist Church actively produces and distributes a publication designed to reach the surrounding community with the truth of God’s Word and His gospel in a non-intrusive approach.  “The Harmony Baptist Herald” is distributed regularly to local communities in the Godfrey, Dow, and Elsah IL. in an attempt put the truth of God’s word in the hands of those in the community.
